Rebranding CW Decorating

Rebranding is most definitely an investment, and one that has shown tremendous measurable growth — In social media engagement, in my new business contracts and my overall brand messaging & goals. they are clearer than ever! The best brands have a way of attracting the best clients or audience, and this rings true as my dream projects have now become clearer goals for me to pursue into this year and moving forward.

There’s something so powerful in working with a creative agency than can elevate & bring my business brand to life. In a way I had never imagined. Thankful for woman-owned branding agency midnighthex.com for this stunning rebrand. WOW

moved into a bigger warehouse

As my business ramps up its operations, it has naturally outgrown the space it was in. With a larger warehouse comes more inventory, more contracts, and more organization access with a better location to load & unload projects. The best warehouse win for me was to take the time in planning out my layout and configuration. This plan gave me a chance to re-access what inventory gaps or cleanups I needed, in addition to a clear, uninterrupted flow of inventory placement.

Moving from a cramped space to a large warehouse isn’t as simple as it sounds. It’s crucial to design a layout for the new warehouse, one that offers the most efficient use of space, or you’ll feel it in your bottom line $$. I really took the time to calculate the value and costs, and a logical flow of inventory through the space. And no plan is complete without clear paths and procedures for my team & helpers.

I’m thrilled to be offering my very first warehouse storefront sign, I’ll share once it’s up & installed.

invested in New inventory & a Scanner

As mentioned above my move into the new warehouse — forced me to access any inventory gaps. When a new bigger space overs a new layout that organizes all my inventory by category, I could quickly see the list of new items I needed to purchase.

In addition to the inventory checks — a scanner was really a game changer for me. An inventory management scanner is essential as your business and stock grows. This scanner helps me track the all inventory items, easily choose from hundreds of items scanned quickly & keep tabs on current inventory in existing staged projects.

improved my Contracts & Agreements

Gone are the days of spending countless hours updating my Indesign templates, I moved my redesigned & branded contracts to google docs —- that’s right I’m on the CLOUD! In additional to reducing editing & contract admin time, I went through a services review during my rebrand this really helped me pinpoint what my service offering contracts needed to evolve to, and how to effectively translate that into clear projects & estimate for my clients.

My service agreement lays out the terms and conditions under which provide services and specifically spells out the key responsibilities and liabilities. Having a good contract is important. As I want to avoid misunderstandings and undue liability while and setting clear deliverable scope & limitations.

A strong business relationship comes with a clear understanding out the agreements of services.

SET Boundaries & work Life balance

Small business owners have so many responsibilities that it can often be challenging to balance them with dedicated home and family time.

I made it a goal to really stick to work life balance — here are my TIPS

  1. I make a conscious effort to leave work at a reasonable hour. I make sure to set hard start and stop times for work.

  2. Take a step back - when things get too much, and the workload isn’t manageable I recognize it and spread it out .

  3. Delegate tasks - not everything needs to fall on me, and I do not always have to be actively doing

  4. Sleep + Nutrition + Fitness — Need a say more, when I prioritize these, my whole life is just better!
